FROM ART CLASS TO Senior class

I first met Bella as a freshman in my Art 1 class. She was a sweet, confident, and a natural artist. We got along great from the start. She would spend time chatting at my desk, telling me that she wanted me to capture her senior photos one day.

Fast forward a few years later, her mom reached out wanting to do senior photos. Bella remembered those conversations and so did I.

I was already a yes before she finished the sentence.

They wanted something outdoorsy, open, and very Texas to show off her cute boots. We headed out to Arbor Hills in Plano, and honestly it was such a perfect backdrop. Big sky, golden fields, all of it.

What I loved most about this session was how much ground we covered. I like to bring along a portable wardrobe tent to make outfit changes easy and discrete. We started with a cute blue dress, then switched into shorts and a casual tee for some photos with her car. Then came the letterman jacket, always a staple, and we finished out with her full lacrosse gear, helmet and all, because she's a D1 goalie and that needed to be documented.

Bella was so easy to photograph. Confident, relaxed, just herself the whole time. That kind of energy makes everything come together.
